The European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) 2025 opened its doors in Copenhagen with a surge of energy, vision, and ambition, and F6S was right at the centre of it. With 20+ EU-funded projects represented across Data, AI, Cloud, Edge, Robotics, and Next-Generation Internet domains, our team brought one of the largest and most diverse ecosystems to this year’s flagship European event for data and AI.
As an active BDVA (Big Data Value Association) member, the return to EBDVF was made with a strong presence: a dedicated booth, a cross-project delegation, and a packed schedule of ecosystem engagement. The booth became a focal point for meaningful conversations, attracting researchers, policymakers, SMEs, corporates, industry leaders, and innovation actors from all corners of Europe.
A showcase of Europe’s cutting-edge innovation
Across three days, F6S’ booth represented projects covering the full spectrum of emerging technologies – AI governance, data spaces, green innovation, IoT, cybersecurity, robotics, infrastructures, and digital skills. These projects spanned key areas:
AI & Data Innovation (AI-BOOST, DS4Skills, MOSAICO, NexusForum, NOUS)
AI-Driven Industry & Sustainability (NOSTRADAMUS, Rob4Green, TWAIN, TITAN, HEDGE-IoT, Resilmesh)
AI and Big Data projects addressing a variety of challenges across different fields (AI4Europe, NebulOuS, FOODITY, SOPRANO, AI4Debunk, DeployAI, AUTOASSESS, Cirpass-2, EYE4AI, AID4SME, FORTIS, and TRUSTCHAIN).
This positioned our team as a unique connector, accelerating innovation not only through individual projects, but by enabling synergies, shared visibility, and cross-sector collaboration.
High engagement with industry, policy, and research communities
EBDVF is well-known for its ability to convene Europe’s top voices in Data and AI, and our team made the most of it. From morning booth sessions to afternoon project spotlights, projects connected directly with potential adopters, SMEs and researchers, and stakeholders explored collaboration opportunities across F6S-coordinated initiatives, including cascade funding (check our upcoming Open Calls!). Moreover, strategy discussions highlighted our role in strengthening European digital sovereignty, and the team engaged in conversations with policymakers and ecosystem builders focused on responsible AI, data governance, and emerging infrastructures.
Shaping the future with synergies
One of the strongest outcomes of this year’s participation was the definitive establishment of F6S’ AI, Big Data & NGI synergy, demonstrating our capacity to drive scale, amplify results and unify initiatives that might otherwise remain siloed. As we wrap up this exceptional edition, our team is already gearing up for what comes next. We’re looking forward to the next iteration of the European Big Data Value Forum in Galway, Ireland, in autumn 2026. With an expanding portfolio of EU-funded projects, a stronger synergy network, a growing team presence, and as part of the organisation committee, F6S is preparing to bring an even larger presence, deeper engagement, and greater impact to the community.
See you in Ireland for an even more powerful showcase of Europe’s AI and Data innovation ecosystem!
