F6S Energy Efficiency projects make waves at EUSEW 2025

Brussels, Belgium – The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW 2025), Europe’s largest annual event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use, concluded on June 12th and our Energy Efficiency projects and the Sustainable Energy Hub were right in the heart of the action! The F6S stand served as a vibrant meeting point, bringing together representatives from our diverse and innovative portfolio of EU-funded projects dedicated to driving the energy transition forward.

Organised by CINEA – European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency and the Directorate-General for Energy, EUSEW 2025 drew over 9,000 attendees, both onsite and online, 60+ sessions, 34 stands. These were three days of intense discussions and collaboration focused on decarbonisation, competitiveness, and resilience.

Throughout the week, and aligned with EUSEW 2025’s theme of “Powering a fair and competitive green transition“, we engaged with a wide range of stakeholders, from policymakers and industry professionals to researchers and fellow innovators. The event kicked off with an inspiring opening session and debates, setting the stage for in-depth discussions throughout the week.

Our stand buzzed with activity as representatives from projects like WeForming, i-STENTORE, SNUG, TWAIN, DigiWind, EXIGENCE, 6G-PATH, HEDGE-IoT, INFERNO, HyList, 6G-LEADER shared their latest advancements and insights.

We were particularly encouraged by the level of interest in crucial themes, such as boosting the EU energy economy, facilitating affordable reskilling for workers, providing decarbonised buildings, and tackling energy storage in Europe. The conversations reinforced the importance of empowering citizens with the right knowledge towards achieving the goals of the European Green Deal and the broader energy transition. Cathy De Bruyne from Stad Gent underscored the impact of effective information, sharing a powerful insight: “For every euro we invest in guidance, citizens invest 17 euros in energy renovations.”

Our Energy Efficiency projects and the Sustainable Energy Hub’s participation in EUSEW 2025 was a success, further solidifying our commitment to amplifying the visibility and impact of EU-funded sustainable energy initiatives. We look forward to building on the connections made and continuing to foster collaboration across the energy ecosystem.
